ABSA Junior Learnership Programme

Tasks
As a Junior Learner, your responsibilities and tasks will be:
- Participating in all scheduled classroom-based training sessions
- Participating in workplace learning and job shadowing in Absa’s Home Loans department.
- Assisting with client inquiries and solutions via various digital and contact channels.
- Demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Managing your own learning process and maintaining accountability for academic achievement.
- Applying problem-solving strategies to assist clients efficiently
- Demonstrate cooperation, professionalism, and outstanding service orientation.
Qualifications
To be eligible for the ABSA Junior learnership programme, applicants must meet the following essential qualifications:
- A completed Degree or an equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
- Must be proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Must be computer literate
- Must be unemployed and not currently enrolled in any other learnership or academic program.
- Must be available full-time for the whole 12-month program period.
- Must not be more than 30 years old at the time of application.
- Applicants must be South African citizens or permanent residents.
- Submit a detailed CV, including contactable references
- Include certified copies of academic credentials, identity document, and proof of address
Experience
While this is an entry-level program targeted for students with no prior job or learnership experience, you are required to demonstrate:
