The Learner role is a developmental position in which the incumbent will complete a formal, certified qualification while acquiring work experience. During the time of employment, the Learner will be accountable for providing tasks to execute established work objectives such as research, analysis, administration, process, and project work that add value to the business area.
The Learner is required to meet all of the qualification criteria. Additional work-related training will be offered as necessary.
Throughout the FNB Learnership Program, you will be assigned a variety of responsibilities, including research, analysis, administration, and project work, all of which will help the company achieve its goals. Responsibilities:
- Identify and escalate potential risks that may lead to increased costs.
- Show cost sensitivity and understanding of your personal commitment to expenses.
- Improve knowledge and comprehension of financial procedures while adhering to needed operational standards.
- Adhere to the Organization’s shared values, service standards, and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) results in terms of customer interactions.
- Resolve consumer dissatisfaction/complaints and take ownership of the issue.
- Collect customer feedback to help improve customer service.
- Ensure that product information and suggestions are technically correct.
- Work with improved processes and procedures to keep operational efficiency.
- Ensures that quality standards are adhered to.
- Adheres to Company policies and procedures. Maintains accurate activity reports.
- Investigate innovative ways to optimise processes.
- Contribute to the alignment of corporate operations and customer service.
- Inform line managers on possible possibilities for process and system improvement.

- Computer Literate (MS Office)
