Key Responsibilities
- Patrol public areas to ensure compliance with municipal bylaws.
- Assist in the enforcement of traffic and safety standards.
- Respond to public complaints and service requests.
- Carry out crowd control tasks at public events and gatherings.
- Collaborate with other law enforcement authorities and emergency services.
- Compile daily reports on events, patrol activity, and legal violations.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate.
- Valid Code B (or higher) Driver’s License.
- Patrol tasks need physical fitness and good medical health.
- No criminal record (a criminal background check will be undertaken).
- Must be available to work irregular hours, weekends, and public holidays.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
- Willingness to participate in a Law Enforcement or Peace Officer Training Course if not previously completed.

Added Advantages
- Peace Officer/Law Enforcement Certificate.
- Relevant security/law enforcement experience.
- Familiarity with local bylaws, the Road Traffic Act, and the Criminal Procedure Act.
