Ubuntu Pathways Job Skills Training Program 2025 Application Form: Ubuntu Pathways gives young people in our community the chance to receive training in critical employment skills and land a job in the area. Anyone interested in the program can use this form to register as an interested applicant.

This form requires anyone interested to submit documents along with their application. Please make sure to provide the correct phone number. Applicants will receive messages or phone calls inviting them to attend an orientation. There is a process to follow, and just completing this application does not guarantee enrollment in the program.

If we call and send a message twice and do not hear back, we will remove you from the applicant list and assume you are not interested. Demand is strong for this program.

Enrolment Criteria

Ages 20-30

Has a matric certificate

Does not have a university degree or equivalent (NQF level 5+)

Does not have a criminal record

Is not presently enrolled in school or planning to return to school within the next 12 months.

Has little or no work experience

Has English fluency – Our positions need candidates to speak English.

Demonstrates work ethic, commitment, and good character

Candidates must furnish Ubuntu Pathways with both a working number and a working alternate number.

Ubuntu Pathways Job Skills Program

Ubuntu’s work Skills Training (JST) Program now provides over 400 adolescent candidates with important work-ready skills. Our state of the art vocational training centre offers market-driven courses, from culinary arts to coding. Participants receive one-on-one coaching and workshops on workplace skills, CV building, and financial literacy. Graduates are placed with one of our 71 local employer partners with ongoing support to ensure long-term success.

What do Ubuntu pathways do?

Ubuntu Pathways (formerly Ubuntu Education Fund) is a non-profit organization that provides an integrated support system of health, education, and social support in the townships of Gqeberha, South Africa, previously known as Port Elizabeth.

Why must you join Ubuntu Pathways?

Candidates receive career guidance, vocational training, and professional skills development over a six week period. After finishing the program, we help graduates find exciting jobs in foodservice, hospitality, retail, and other industries through our recruitment partners.

How is the Ubuntu organization funded?

Fortunately, during its first year of operation, the Ubuntu Institute received money from a crucial partner, the Ford Foundation, as well as other donors such as the WK Kellogg Foundation, South Africa’s Industrial Development Corporation, and the Umsobomvu Youth Fund, a South African government fund.
