The business is looking to hire a qualified applicant to handle general maintenance in and around the Khanye Colliery mine site in Bronkhorstspruit.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Good communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Grade 12
- Drivers Licence will be an advantage
OTHER SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
- Familiar with Good housekeeping standards
- Must understand the importance of working safely
- Absolutely NO previous criminal record
- Adhere to inherent job requirements
- Must be medically fit

EXPERIENCE
- 3 years relevant experience in building works and plumbing
Mining environment experience is essential
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The following are among the duties, however they are not the only ones:
- Installing various signs around the mine
- General basic repair work
- Cleaning surrounding the main facility and its offices.
- Cleaning of trenches
- Cutting grass around the mine
- To help the coal lorries leaving Khanye Colliery close their tarpaulins
