• Performs patrols on precise web page allocated

Inspections

• Conduct inspections of internal and outdoor structures and report all protection breaches and irregularities discovered

Escort

• Provide escort to students, staff, contractors, or visitors

Response to Emergencies

During emergency conditions or evacuation exercises, provide any extra protective offerings that may be required. Emergencies include:

• Fire evacuation
• During students’ unrest
• While taking pictures of incidents
• During bomb scare
• When any person is injured and wishes scientific assistance

Serve as first responder by:

• Cordoning off a crime scene
• Liaising with manage room
• Preserve the crime scene
• Record proof at the crime scene
• Identify witnesses or suspects
• Hand over crime scene to superiors or regulation enforcement agencies
• Assist regulatory enforcement businesses as needed.

Required Academic Qualification/s

• Matric / Grade 12
• Grade ‘C” or above PSIRA authorized certificate
• One-year National Certificate in Security Risk Management

Required Years of Work-Related Experience

• three to four years of skill in the protection industry.
• Knowledge of Criminal Procure Act
• Knowledge of felony aspects

Other Requirements

• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
• Ability to skip previous background checks/screening.
• Must no longer have a criminal record
• Good travel in getting right of entrance to control, safety patrols, escort inspection, and ad hoc responsibilities.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and document writing skills.
• Strong working knowledge of the Control of Access to Public Premises and Vehicles Act and other relevant legislation.
