Road Traffic and Law Enforcement Training Programme 2025. Ngwathe Municipality is searching for youth from diverse areas who have the necessary qualifications to start training for a certificate in Road Traffic and Law Enforcement (NQF Level 4). The instruction will be conducted by Mangaung Traffic Instruction Academy and will last 12 months.

About the Programme

This Traffic Officer learnership programme is intended to provide participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical abilities in traffic law enforcement. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • South Africans in possession of the Grade 12
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • SAPS Clearance results with no criminal record
  • Medical Examination proof
  • Applicants must permanently reside within the jurisdiction of Ngwathe Municipality.

CANDIDATES WILL:

  • Must pass a written assessment and an interview
  • Be required to pass a physical assessment
  • Be required to submit their SAPS Clearance results
  • Must maintain a level of fitness and undertake continuous fitness exams.
  • Candidates shall be subject to the Ngwathe Municipality’s Code of Conduct.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS ATTACHED TO THE POST:

  • The municipality is not compelled to provide a permanent post upon completion of the training; nonetheless, candidates will be expected to undertake intense physical training while at the Academy, as well as instruction in line with the Firearm and Ammunition Act.
  • Successful candidates will be required to wear a uniform, work shifts, and in any weather condition.
  • Only applicants from Ngwathe will be accommodated. Before any appointment, proof of home address and residence verification will be required.
