SALARY: R269 499 per annum
CENTRE :
Provincial Office: Western Cape
REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12/Senior Certificate.
- 0 to 6 months’ experience.
Knowledge:
The Unemployment Insurance Act and Regulations, Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act, Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), Treasury Regulations, Batho Pele Principles, Department of Labour, UIF Policies and Procedures. UIF’s Vision, Mission, and Values. Customer care principles, departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Skills:
- Communication (verbal and written), Computer Literacy, Listening,
- Customer Relations, Analytical, Decision Making
DUTIES:
- Receive and analyse any UI claims on the necessary systems in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
- Register all employers and verify employee declarations in accordance with applicable guidelines.
- Execute payment of authorized claims within the time limitations specified.
- Respond to inquiries about all processed claims and any claims-related issues.
- Perform administrative responsibilities for the section.
