Fly Airlink Cleaner Job Vacancy – Kempton Park, Gauteng
Purpose
To clean Airlink’s facilities and aircraft in compliance with appropriate aviation maintenance and cleaning protocols.
Requirements
The minimum educational qualification is a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent N4.
Safety hazard training (Great to have).
Experience within the cleaning/aviation environment.

Responsibilities
To clean Airlink’s facilities and aircraft fleet in accordance with needed standards and the scheduled roster.
Complete all required paperwork on a daily basis.
Ensure good housekeeping.
Ensure that consumables requests are submitted on time and in accordance with process.
Ensure that any borrowed equipment is returned on a daily basis.
Report all damaged equipment to the Team Leader.
Liaise with the Team Leader to ensure that daily tasks are defined and completed correctly.
Collect and dispose of all waste streams in accordance with corporate regulations.
Perform gardening services, including but not limited to:
Mowing of all lawns.
Trimming all lawn and flower bed edges.
Maintain the hedges.
Maintain flower beds.
Clean walkways, driveways, Apron areas and parking areas.
Weed control.
Water the gardens and flower beds.
Prune trees where necessary.
Emptying of facility refuse/waste bins and/or trolleys.
Garden refuse removal.
Planting trees, flowers, and/or bushes as given by Airlink.
Obeying the instructions given by the company supervisor and manager. This comprises Airlink’s crew chief, chief inspector, and executive manager.
Acting and functioning in accordance with the company’s objective.
Responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with company standards as outlined in procedural manuals, as well as Occupational Health and Safety standards.
Will attend training as necessary.
Will help with any extra work within the scope of the job description.
