The City of Joburg (CoJ) invites unemployed graduates to apply for 18 months Finance Internship Programme 2025.

Circular 021/2024 from the City of Johannesburg (CoJ) provides student internship opportunities for qualified Johannesburg-based students. These internships are offered at the Transport Department as part of the City’s commitment to provide work-based training to assist students in gaining the practical experience required for their credentials.
These internships are offered for a maximum of 18 months and have two particular designations: revenue and transportation transformation.
Internship: Revenue (Finance Branch)
Location: Old Mutual Building, 75 Helen Joseph Street
Remuneration:
R9,531.54 per month for those who have completed at least 360 credits.
R3,500.00 per month for students currently enrolled.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (NQF level 4) and a Diploma in Accounting/Finance or an equivalent certificate (NQF level 6).
- Only residents of the City of Johannesburg.
Core Competencies:
- Knowledge of GRAP standards and MFMA regulations.
- Analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
