Job Description

The Human Capital department seeks an intern to support and help the current Human Resource Team with day-to-day operations. The best applicants must be passionate about people and delivering exceptional service in a deadline-driven atmosphere.

The internship is a structured job-based program that gives unemployed graduates work experience at our organization. The successful applicants will enter into a 12-month fixed term Internship agreement (not an employment contract) with the company and receive a stipend.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following abilities at an advanced level:

  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Organized, Self-disciplined and self-motivated.
  • Deadline and results oriented.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Takes ownership and responsibility.
  • Excellent administration skills.
  • Stress tolerant.

Qualifications

  • Matric or equivalent.
  • Must have a degree/diploma in human resources, industrial psychology, labour relations, BCom Law/LLB, or a similar competence.

Take note that to qualify for an INSETA Internship program, you need to:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Not previously part of an internship/learnership with INSETA
  • Be between the ages of 18 & 35
  • Unemployed in the last 2 months
