May/June Matric Re-mark/Re-check Results Released

Many students requested that their scripts be remarked and rechecked since they were dissatisfied with their matric scores. These results are now available.

The results of the May/June 2024 Matric Rewrite re-marks and re-checks have been made public by the Department of Basic Education (DBE).

Where To Collect Matric Re-mark/Re-check Results

Candidates who applied for a re-mark or re-check of their National Senior Certificate (NSC) examination scripts can collect their matric results from the school or exam center where they sat for the examinations.

Only candidates whose scores improved or whose pass status changed following the re-mark/re-check will get a fresh statement of results. In this case, you can apply for a refund.

Refunds cannot be given if the matric results increased or reduced.

The next matric rewrite test session open for applicants will be the 2025 SC/NSC May/June examinations, as registrations for the 2024 October/November matric exam period have ended. Registration for the 2025 Senior Certificate and National Senior Certificate May/June tests will commence on October 1, 2024, and conclude on February 7, 2025.
