When NSFAS 2025 Applications Will Close

The NSFAS anticipates thousands of students to apply for bursaries and student loans. Here’s when NSFAS 2025 applications will close.

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially started funding applications for 2025. Students and potential students are advised to apply early to prevent disappointment.

NSFAS offers comprehensive bursaries and student loans to eligible students enrolled in recognized courses at universities and TVET colleges. This includes funds for tuition and registration fees, as well as allowances for food, lodging, and educational materials.

Every year, the initiative receives over one million financial applications from students. This figure is expected to rise with the implementation of NSFAS loans for absent middle school pupils.

When NSFAS 2025 Applications Will Close

NSFAS applications for 2025 opened on 1 September 2024. The government bursary system indicated that students will have until November 30, 2024, to submit NSFAS 2025 applications funding.

This provides students a little over 80 days to submit their NSFAS 2025 applications.

Submit your NSFAS application by November 30, 2024.

Students with impairments may have a household income of up to R600,000 per year.
