Minimum Requirements
- Educational qualifications include an ABET certificate or a related certification.
- Experience: Prior laboratory cleaning experience will be advantageous.
Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of cleaning principles.
- Basic knowledge of chemical use e.g., dilution/mixing.
- Understanding of cleaning equipment used.
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements.
- Knowledge of record keeping.
- Good communication and interpersonal relations.
- Basic comprehension and application of laboratory safety guidelines.
- A basic grasp of how to apply and use chemicals appropriately.
Duties
- Clean laboratory and equipment.
- Remove all laboratory waste according to procedures.
- Remove and connect gas cylinders.
- Follow the instructions for cleaning glass and plasticware.
- Fill out the necessary paperwork to guarantee traceability of laboratory activity.
- Stocktaking of cleaning materials.
- He is requesting cleaning materials as and when needed.
- Emptying waste bins.
- Prepare boardrooms for meetings.
- Arrange crockery, utensils, and cutlery required during meetings.
- Clean storerooms, kitchens, offices, corridors, boardrooms, and any other areas designated for cleaning.
- Wash and keep stock of crockery, utensils, and cutlery.
- Fill and refill drinking water containers.
- Clean restrooms.
- Refill hand wash liquid and toilet papers.
- Report broken machines and equipment.
